Cowfold

St. Peter's Church CowfoldCowfold in West Sussex is a busy village located approximately 7 miles south of Horsham at the junction of the A272 and A281.

The village owes its name to Saxon settlers who made enclosures for their cattle, one such enclosure becoming know as Cowfold.

Cowfold now has a population of over 2,000 people and offers a range of amenities including a Post Office, a Health Centre, a General Store, St.Peter's Church, a couple of pubs and many small businesses located both at the centre and on the outskirts of the village.
