five - A group of Professional Artists based in Bolneya new group of professional artists with an inaugural exhibition.‘five’ is a group of up and coming professional artists based in the village of Bolney. It comprises: Julie Janvrin - Figurative Sculpture Simon Janvrin - Photographs Polly Marix Evans - Figurative Paintings and Prints Jules Middleton - Abstract Paintings Jo Starkey - Silk Paintings The group met through an ad placed in the local Post Office window by Jules Middleton, then a newcomer to the village, seeking local artists who might be interested in working together, or just meeting up for a chat and a cup of tea! After the initial meeting they quickly acknowledged a mutual need for other avenues to get their work from the studio to the market place. ‘five’ was born as a means of achieving this.
